The sbt guesthouse in Beatenberg is hard to beat in terms of value for money. Accommodating staff, good food, top landscape with a magnificent view, clean and well-kept, simple but totally chill.

We chose this guest house because of its location, but we found it perfect! The staff were friendly and helpful, the parking very convenient, all the facilities impeccable. Our rooms were cozy but very comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and ate a delicious dinner one of the evenings. The best thing was the view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The location was good for visiting many places in central Switzerland.

This is my 2nd visit with my church. Both in January. Everything is great: friendly service, good food, quiet rooms, convenient location (30 min from Interlaken West by bus). My first stay had a view of the lake which was breathtaking. The second stay had a corner room with a view of the parking lot and the mountain, which was still beautiful. The snow adds a lot of romance. Had a very good time reflecting. Lots to do in the area but we didn’t have enough time. Would come again.

We had the privilege of spending a richly blessed camp in the best weather in Beatenberg. Very uncomplicated and well organized, including a detailed and very practical cleaning plan. Team very friendly and courteous, house in good condition and absolutely recommendable. We would be happy to come again!

…to this beautiful place where we met for the first time twenty years ago

The location is second to none. From our room with balcony, we looked across the lake to the snow-capped mountains, and we were tempted to stay there and just enjoy the view. But we also hiked up the Niederhorn behind the hotel, visited Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen and mingled with the seminary students who took turns serving in the dining room. Our room was very comfortable and we were impressed by the improvements that had been made since 1997.

A fantastic place, the staff were wonderful, the rooms were fantastic for a hostel that definitely exceeded my expectations. The shared bathrooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable and THE VIEW!!! Wow!!! Overall a fantastic stay!

We spent a family weekend in the sbt leisure house. The house was ideal for us and also very well heated for this time of year. On Saturday we went on an excursion to the Niederhorn in wonderful sunshine and a sea of fog. The house is to be recommended.

We spent our class camp in the leisure house. We particularly liked the space in front of the house with the table tennis table and the barbecue area. The two camp houses met our needs and the reception staff were always ready to help immediately if we had any problems or concerns.

The house met our expectations perfectly! It was very suitable for receiving and accommodating the group we were. The house was clean and the facilities were as described in the online description. Very friendly and accommodating staff. It is fastidious in terms of cleanliness of the place at the time of departure, but without being annoying.

As a couple we spent two wonderful days in the sbt guest house. Very nice and well furnished room. Everything was very clean and hygienic. The food is a real treat. Warm atmosphere in the house.

A very nice guest house with a breathtaking mountain backdrop. Mönch, Eiger and Jungfrau right in front of you when you wake up… what more could you want?

The hotel is run by Christians and the service is accordingly caring, honest and warm. If you want to enjoy Switzerland spiritually as well as enjoying good food, simple but clean rooms and great hiking opportunities on site, this is the place for you!

Compared to other guesthouses in Switzerland, the price is definitely an insider tip. Especially great for families with children! We stayed here last year and would love to come back!
