… different room types		Our house was designed 120 years ago in the Art Nouveau period and has 80 different rooms. The sbt hotel is also suitable for families and groups.
… large grounds		On our grounds you will find many activities for young and old, such as a water slide, zip line, children's playground, trampoline, life-size table football, picnic area with grill / fire pit.
… day trip opportunities in the vicinity		Beatenberg is located in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, a region known for its many opportunities for excursions and activities. A walker's paradise, beginning right on the doorstep: funiculars, ski lifts and indoor swimming pools are only a few minutes away. Whether on foot or by train, alone or with the family, come and discover the Bernese Alps!
… easy access		Beatenberg is only 1 hour from Bern or Lucerne by car and 2 hours from Basel or Zurich. Take the train to Interlaken West and then the bus to the "Wydi" stop. After a few minutes walk you will find our hotel.

A very nice guesthouse with breathtaking mountain scenery. Mönch, Eiger and Jungfrau right in front of you when you wake up...

Also priced compared to other guesthouses in Switzerland for sure an insider tip. Especially for families with children! We were already here last year and are very happy to come back!

As a couple we spent two wonderful days at sbt guesthouse. Very nice and well furnished room. Everything very clean and hygienic. The food is a real treat for the palate. Warm atmosphere in the house.

Nostalgic return

...to this beautiful place where we first met twenty years ago

The location is unsurpassed. Our balcony room looked across the lake to the snow-capped mountains and we were tempted to remain there and just enjoy the view. But we also hiked the trails up the mountain behind the hotel, visited Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen, and enjoyed mingling with some of the students from the adjacent seminary who took turns serving in the dining room. Our room was very comfortable and we were impressed with the improvements that had been made since 1997.
